Creative Thinker, Designer, Storyteller

I believe that storytelling is one of the greatest powers that we have in connecting with others. Growing up, I was surrounded by art and quickly gained a deep appreciation for artists’ ability to communicate in the absence of words. I searched for places where I could creatively express myself, and figure out what stories I needed to tell.

Eventually, my passion for storytelling and art led me to Stanford, where I received a degree in Interdisciplinary English and Art. Between creative writing workshops, printmaking, and design classes, I found new ways to merge my skills. Design falls at the intersection of it all. I use my creative writing background to find the overarching creative story. Then, art theory and my understanding of design tools work together to execute the visual aspects of the project. I’m interested in finding the line where art and design overlap, abstracting the story into its visual form.

As I look to what’s next, I hope to help teams with goals and values that align with mine. I would like to find a company that values connection, authenticity and is working to uplift others through design.
